Scholarly Activities :
1. Participant in the NSF funded Seminar on Workshop Calculus at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. Developed a course titled Integrated Precalculus/Calculus course during Fall 1996 and January 1997. The course is being taught currently during Fall 1996 and will continue during January 1997, so that the students will be prepared for the second semester Calculus during Spring 1997.
2. Member of the Advisory Committee of the California Mathematics Project.
3. Participant in workshop PROMPT ( Professors Rethinking Options in Mathematics for Prospective Teachers) sponsored by NSF at Humboldt State University in Northern California, May 31 to June 11, 1993
4. Participant in the MER (Mathematics Education Reform) workshop on " Changing Culture: Mathematics Education in the Research Community " at Berkeley, California, Mar. 4-7, 1993.
5.Participant in Calculus Workshop sponsored by NSF at California State University Long Beach from July 19 through July 24, 1992.
