Where the heck is Whittier? |
Whittier is about 18 miles south-east of Los Angeles,
California or 23 miles driving distance from Los Angeles
International Airport. Whittier features a pleasant small
town atmosphere in the middle of the Los Angeles

How do I get the best tickets?
|
Call the box office, be early and be a season subscriber. The
box office has the best selection of seats. For the Aloha
series, almost all of the orchestra and mezzanine are taken
by season subscribers. Other series have less
subscribers, but subscribing is still the best way to get the
best seats. We normally start our subscription process for
the Aloha Series at the end of May . After all the
subscription cut off date, normally the start of August and
a time to process all of them, single shows are put on sale.
The exact dates will be on the series pages under "Calendar." |

Are there any good places to eat around the
Shannon Center? |
Shannon Center's location in Uptown Whittier puts many good
restaurants within walking or minimal driving distance.
Please see the Local Dining
page for more information |
|
How much does it cost and where can I park? |
Parking is free at the Shannon Center. You may park anywhere
on the Whittier College campus (after 5:00 p.m. weekdays and
all day on Saturday and Sunday), but the best parking is
directly behind the center. There is also parking across
Philadelphia next to the Mendendhall Building and east on
Philadelphia in front of the music buildings. |

How big is the theater? I'm in the balcony,
will I be able to see the performers? |
The theater is very intimate, so you can leave the binoculars
at home. Please see the Robinson
Theatre page for more information. |
