H.S.A Activities Hispanic
Heritage Week Hispanic Heritage Week is held annually on campus, usually during the month of October. During this time we have speakers, exhibits, bowling nights, parties, cultural entertainment and other presentations. It is a week of good times and fun. Our final event concluding the week is the Tardeada. Tardeada In cooperation with the Center of Mexican Affairs, H.S.A. hosts the annual Tardeada. The Tardeada is an annual reception held in honor of new and returning Hispanic students and their parents. The event is held on the Upper Quad of the campus. This event that offers good food, good music, and a good time. Everyone is invited. This year it will be held on Sunday the 28th Brindis Navideno Brindis Navideno is our annual Christmas Party. This is a time where we celebrate all the good times that happened throughout the year. We celebrate with a cup of egg nog, great food, and Mariachiss in the background as entertainment. Held Dec. 1st in the Faculty Center Parent Recognition Dinner Parent Recognition Dinner is a dinner we hold annually to tell our parents that we appreciate all the things they have done for us. It is a bonding time and also a time for your parents to become apart of Whittier College. Amigos Amigos is our cultural production we
put on in the Spring semester. This event is a spectacular dinner and
show. There is different styles of Latin American dances performed and
a majority of them done by students. This year Amigos will be held on
May 10th and the Chair for Amigos is Monique Orozco. To become
