There are 91 full-time faculty members teaching at Whittier College. Ninety have a terminal degree in their field.

Sixty percent of the faculty are men and 40 percent are women.

Faculty members are nationally known in their fields and have earned numerous honors including a Pushcart Prize for Poetry, Grammy Awards, Fulbright Awards, the National Endowment for the Humanities and National Science Foundation grants.

All courses at Whittier College are taught by faculty, not teaching assistants.
