Physics Club

The Whittier College Physics Club was established in 1993 as a chapter of The Society of Physics Students. The Physics Club promotes interest in physics, but mostly we just have a lot of fun. Over the past few years we have sponsored overnight astronomy parties in the desert and in the mountains, faculty versus student volleyball games, movie nights, bowling nights, and a long list of other events.

Most of the students who participate in Physics Club activities are not physics majors. The only requirement for membership is an interest in physics.
