Palmer Alumnae in the Southern California gathered over tea
this summer to share a vision for an Endowed Scholarship. This endeavor is the
inspiration of Palmer Sister, Barbara (Ondrasik) Groce ‘57. With her husband
David, Barbara will match all donations to the Endowed Scholarship up to $20,000
to initiate this worthy effort.
The Palmer Alumnae Leadership Council is now organizing to
make this dream a reality. This starts with reaching the match challenge and
raising $50,000 by June 2014 to establish the scholarship in perpetuity. We
welcome all ideas and volunteers. Together in sisterhood, Palmer resources and
ingenuity can create a legacy worthy of our tradition and help a Palmer Girl
finish her education.
The Leadership Council first meeting is scheduled for Sunday,
