"Out of Africa"

Palmer Actives, Alumnae, and their guests spent a wonderful sunny Southern California day together getting to know each other better.  The day started at the Rock where we met and sang some songs from The Palmer Society's Greatest Hits before we took off on our adventure.  Our first stop was the Los Angeles Zoo where we visited some of the world's more rare and exotic creatures.  We then re-fueled and relaxed at the Crocodile Cafe in Glendale.  Our day ended in Whittier at the home of Laura Rau '85.  Everyone enjoyed sharing in scrapbooks and memories from other great days in the Palmer Society's past and knew that this particular day would go down in the history books as one of them as well.
