Palmer Rush 2008

Get your poodle skirts and saddle shoes out! Palmer
rush was held on November 15th, with the '50s themed day entitled “We Go
Together”. Actives, alumnae and guests met at the Rock where we were able to
take pictures. Soon after introductions, the adventure began with a ride to
Balboa Island. There, we had a scavenger hunt that led them into the arcade and
some rides on the Balboa Pier. Lunch was hosted at Rudy’s Dinner, were there was
nice view of the ocean. The adventure continued to Mrs. Charlene Beal Brown’s
house. Everyone was to relax from the day and mingle with some of our alumnae
and have some Palmer Punch. Stories were shared my many on why they pledged
Palmers and what being a Palmer means to them. Thank you to all who
attended. In all, it was a wonderful day.
