The Palmer Society
Green Homecoming Campaign

In an effort to do our share to prevent wasting limited resources, The Palmer Society is taking its first step to create more green friendly events, starting with our annual homecoming event.

Starting in 2008, the Palmer Society will send homecoming invitations by e-mail only to members who have provided a valid address. This alone could cut our paper usage by 1/3 based on current information.

Update- August 12, 2009- Over 60 members have signed up for our Palmer Green Homecoming Campaign, volunteering to receive their annual Homecoming event invitation via e-mail and reducing paper and postage costs.  This is the first year we have enough volunteers to reduce the total number of order paper invitation to a 650 cut-off on top of saving postage costs.

We anticipate that Green Homecoming Invites will go out in the next couple of weeks, so there is still time to sign up to be on 2009 Green Homecoming Campaign list.

Please sign up to receive all future homecoming invitations via e-mail.
