Palmer Alumnae Leadership Council

The Alumnae Leadership Council was is a new alumnae group with the goal of building community and networking opportunities. The group was launched in 2010 at the Palmer Tea held in July and includes active representation. One of the council’s major projects is to build support for the Palmer Alumnae Scholarship.  The group currently meets in person in the Whittier area but is looking to expand and utilize teleconferencing technologies to meet diverse locations and schedules.  We welcome all volunteers interested in these goals to join us. Poet Online Community keeps W.C. Alumni & Info Up-to-date

The Whittier College “Poet Online Community,” has many great features for W.C. alumni. This secured website allows users to look up classmates, submit class notes, get news, and join in on discussion boards. The resource will be helpful for Palmers also because it will help maintain accurate mail and e-mail information. We encourage all our sisters to not only register, but to also explore all of the site’s excellent features.

Registering for this free password-protected Whittier College alumni site and updating your profile is easy. Alumni can get started by getting their personalized 8 digit ID number from the Alumni Office at alumni@whittier.edu or by calling (562) 907-4222.

Once you have your ID code, this is the step-by-step process to get started:

1.   Go to http://www.poetalumni.net

2.   Type in your last name

3.   Find your name listed

4.   Insert your “8 digit ID code” that you received from the Alumni Office

5.   Update your profile information

Optional– You can change your password at this point so that in the future you can take advantage of all the Poet Online Community has to offer.
