Garrett House |
The faculty masters of
Garrett, Johnson, and Hartley Houses look forward to
your arrival on campus in a few weeks and to the
opportunity to welcome you as a new neighbor.
Masters and their families live on campus in
designated homes next to—or, in the case of Johnson
House, connected to—student residences. This
out-of-classroom living and learning environment
creates an educational opportunity unmatched on the
West Coast, and encompasses intellectual and social
programs such as scholarly lectures, dinners,
musical performances, and cooking classes, and film
screenings and discussion. Faculty masters
frequently sponsor trips for students to museums,
galleries, theatres, and concerts all over Southern
California.
We hope you will feel welcome at each of the faculty
master homes and will take advantage of the many
opportunities available to you!
