   LIBRARY INSTRUCTION    |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Library instruction occurs both in the classroom and in the Instructional Laboratory on the Ground Floor inside the IT Center. Librarians are available to teach classes on a variety of subjects related to library research, usually directly related to class assignments designed in consultation with the instructor. They may provide instruction on how to find books, how to find articles, strategies for research utilizing both paper and electronic resources, discerning authoritative web sites, determining the difference between popular and scholarly sources, differences in citation styles, etc. Librarians are also available for instruction on an individual basis. To make an appointment, please call the library at x4247 or x4868.
