WALDO stations (for searching our online catalog) are located near the Reference Desk on the main floor as well as on the Mezzanine and top floor. They all have a WALDO logo on the monitor. PCs and IMACs for database searching, web browsing, and word processing are available on each floor of the library. Network connections for laptops are available throughout the library. In order to print, however, you must download the file to a floppy disk and use one of the library’s computers. PRINT STATION (next to Database Computers on main floor) Handles all regular student printing in the library. (A color printer is available for $1.00 a page but requires staff assistance.) Copies are 10 cents a page and you must use a Copy Card (see Vendacoder). |

MACHINES Located next to stairwell on the main floor and near the elevator on the Mezzanine and top floor. Copies are 10 cents a page and you can use coins, dollar bills, or a Copy Card (see Vendacoder). MICROFILM READER-PRINTERS Three microfilm reader/printers are located near the elevator on the main floor. Microfilm cabinets containing the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Whittier Daily News, Quaker Campus, some journals, Government documents on microfilm or fiche, and other specialized items, are located behind the stairwell on the main floor. . Copies are 10 cents a page and you must use dimes or a Copy Card (see Vendacoder) VENDACODER Located next to Copy Machines in Stairwell on main floor The Vendacoder provides Copy Cards which can be used for all printing and copying needs except for color printing. MISCELLANEOUS A paper cutter, stapler, scissors, and a 3-hole punch are on a table by the copy machine on the main floor |
