Welcome!
We are always excited when a prospective
student inquires about our Graduate Programs in Education at
Whittier College. Whittier College is fully accredited by the
California Board of Education and the California Commission on
Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) to offer programs leading toward both
the Multiple Subject (elementary) Teaching Credential and the
Single Subject (secondary) Teaching Credential. Much of the
successfully completed coursework for one's teaching credential can
be used to fulfill requirements for the Master of Arts in
Education degree. Graduate courses are conveniently held in the
evenings, feature small classes allowing for individualized
attention, and include fieldwork components that provide candidates
with opportunities for observation and practical application.
We invite you to visit Whittier College, speak to the Graduate
Admission Counselor, and observe a class. When you visit, you will
have the opportunity to speak and meet with current students and
faculty. The Graduate Admission Counselor is committed to providing
you with personal and individualized attention throughout the
admissions process.
Exciting New 30 Unit Program.
You can earn your Preliminary Teaching Credential and Masters at the
same time.
Now accepting new student applications for the Summer!
