Welcome!

We are always excited when a prospective student inquires about our Graduate Programs in Education at Whittier College. Whittier College is fully accredited by the California Board of Education and the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) to offer programs leading toward both the Multiple Subject (elementary) Teaching Credential and the Single Subject (secondary) Teaching Credential. Much of the successfully completed coursework for one's teaching credential can be used to fulfill requirements for the Master of Arts in Education degree. Graduate courses are conveniently held in the evenings, feature small classes allowing for individualized attention, and include fieldwork components that provide candidates with opportunities for observation and practical application.

When you visit, you will have the opportunity to speak and meet with current students and faculty.
