CURRENT RESEARCH

 

(a)  I have been collecting and analyzing data using a 40-page Multiple Identities Questionnaire,  which explores various aspects of ethnic, racial, national, religious, geographical, social class, school occupational, gender, sexual, family, health, age, political, and other identities.

 

(b) I am analyzing data from  a 25-year follow-up of the original participants in the Boston Couples Study, in collaboration with Anne Peplau at UCLA.

 

(c)  I am conducting cross-cultural surveys of attitudes about gender roles and marriage, in cooperation with colleagues in Japan, China, and other countries. 

 

(d)  I have conducted data analyses to assess the Whittier College freshman writing program and its developmental writing course.
