Welcome to the Web Page for Environmental Chemistry (CHEM 282).  The purpose of this course is to introduce the important chemical processes underlying the Earth's ecosystem.  One important part of this course is applying what we learn to areas of local concern.  To that end, we will be involved in two service projects which are intimately tied to course coverage. 

• Water Quality Studies in the San Gabriel River Basin
• Native Plant Bioremediation on the former Woodland's Duck Farm
