April 20, 2004 – Four freshmen earn All-Conference Honors

The future looks bright for POET track & field as four freshmen received All-Conference recognition following the SCIAC Championships on April 19. Molly Loesche in the pole vault, Dana Allen in the 100m Hurdles, Leon Williams in the 200m, and Christian Banda in the Triple Jump paced the youth movement.

March 17, 2004 – Record performances highlight early meet efforts

The women’s 400m Relay Team (Julie Rivera, Amy Kyler, Krista Key, and Dana Allen) broke the 16-year old school record during the SCIAC Multi-Dual meet hosted at Whittier on March 6. Steeplechasers Roberta Roy and Kelly Orosz took turns establishing new records for their event… Roberta (Bobbie) broke the previous record on March 6 and Kelly improved on Bobbie’s time on March 13. Pole Vaulters Christian Banda (13’ 6”) and Molly Loesche (9’ 6”) are progressing toward possible school records for that event and Dana Allen posted the 3rd fastest 100mH time in school history at 16.13. Distance runner Laura Guzman and 100m specialist Amy Kyler also broke into the All-Time Top 10 lists for their events.
