The Whittier College football program has begun their spring
practice season. The Poets' coaching staff is opening
practice to those who would like to come and find out what Poet
football is all about.

Poets 2006 Season Preview
A promising spring practice season and outstanding
off-season weight training programs have first year head
coach BJ Hammer and the rest of the Whittier College
football coaching staff excited for a successful 2006
campaign. The 2006 recruiting class will fill a number
of needs and is one the most talented groups coming into
Whittier in some time. The group includes a number of
All-CIF performers, All-State Arizona
players, the MVP of the San Diego Area All-Star Game,
and an award winner from the
San Bernardino All-Star Game.
