WHITTIER FOOTBALL WANTS YOU TO VISIT CAMPUS!!!The Whittier Football staff invites you to come for a campus visit. During the month of February there will be three Saturday visit opportunities- February 11th, 18th, and 25th. Arrival time will be 10:00 AM at the Graham Athletic Center. Our staff will develop an itinerary that will include a campus tour, info session with an Admission’s counselor, alumni speaker, athletic facilities tour, offensive or defensive chalk talk, time with Coach Hammer and other staff members, viewing of Whittier highlight film, and lunch with current Whittier football players.
If you would like to sign up for a Saturday visit please email Coach Hammer at whammer@whittier.edu, please indicate in the email the date you would like to visit. The Whittier coaching staff will be on the phone as well to set up visit dates.
If a Saturday visit does not fit your schedule, a Whittier football coach will be in contact with you soon to arrange a week-day visit. See you on campus!

Coach Hammer named new Head Football CoachBJ Hammer has been named the new Head Football Coach at Whittier College. Coach Hammer is excited to take over the program and build on the solid foundation that has been established over the last three years. “Helping Coach Carlson build the program the last three years has been an incredible experience and now it is my job to lead the Whittier Football Program to the next level. My expectation levels are very high and I am excited to see what the future holds for Whittier Football. Over the coming months the football program will focus on achieving high academic standards, becoming stronger in the weight room, team building, leadership development, and recruiting quality student athletes that will impact the college and the football program.” Coach Hammer has been the Defensive Coordinator for the Poets since 2003.
