Whittier College Names New Men's Soccer Coach
Paul Gordon Walmsley, former head coach at California
State University Maritime Academy, has been named the new
head coach of the men's soccer program at Whittier
College. He was a member of the University of
Illinois soccer team that won a national championship in
1988.

McFarlin '07 Placed on All-SCIAC 2nd Team
Joe McFarlin '07 was named to the All-Southern California
Intercollegiate Athletic Conference 2nd Team on November 6.
McFarlin made the transition from defense to forward mid-season and
sparked the Poet offense with four goals in the second half of the
season.

Kody Seminara '08 scored a second half goal, but Whittier
College lost 3-2 to Occidental College in their last game
this season on November 1. The Poets finish their
season 3-16 overall and 1-13 in the SCIAC.
