Series relate to the ideas about memory, displacement, migration, estrangement, and common rituals such as cleansing, fasting, birth (celebration) and death (lamentation). The images of diamond, ape, house, boat, etc. are juxtaposed with a printed word, sometimes real, sometimes invented. In the play between word and image, the onlooker recognizes both and is startled by their seeming disconnection.
