Have you ever thought about
studying in another country but were not sure if courses
and credits could transfer and count toward your major
or graduation from Whittier College? Have you ever
wanted to learn another language or live in another
country and learn about a culture different than your
own? Are you one who likes to travel and desires
to complement your Whittier College liberal education
experience? If you answered yes to any of these
questions, you should consider participating in a
foreign study program for a semester or academic year.
We encourage you to meet with a Whittier College
International Program advisor to explore study abroad
program possibilities that fit your preferences and
needs. Whittier College has sponsored
international study programs for 40 years.
Students have traveled to Argentina, Austria, Denmark,
Japan, Poland, Australia, England, Ireland, Italy, New
Zealand, South Africa, and Sweden, to name a few.
Call or visit the International Programs office to learn
more about exciting study abroad opportunities.
