History and Mission...
Anyone is welcome to share their talent for doing math in this
group. We periodically post problems and try to invite
solutions from our members.You will also find a short biography
of mathematicians past and present.
Whittier College is private liberal arts college about 15 miles
south of downtown L.A. The Mathematics Department at this
school has continued in its tradition of excellence and
continues to draw students from all majors.
The WCMG was started two years ago by our math majors.The
founding members include Greg Miller, Georgi Gospodinov and
Bilal Shaw, apart from the math faculty.
