The paper will focus on the literary-cultural manifestation of religious practices and rituals in Mexico (Veracruz/Tijuana) and U.S. (Los Angeles) honoring San Judas Tadeo-Juan Soldado and San Antonio as exemplified in the novel, Santitos, by Maria Amparo Escandón and other relevant material.
