Geiger, B.A., Whittier College; M.A. and Ph.D.,
University of Southern California, is particularly
interested in Renaissance literature (especially the
intellectual change from the classical-medieval world
view to the modern scientific world view), semantics
(the study of meaning), the history of literary
criticism and contemporary literary criticism, and the
intellectual history of Europe and America. In addition
to Renaissance literature and the interdisciplinary
course in The Western Mind, he teaches Critical
Procedures in Language and Literature, and Hemingway and
Eliot. |
