Education: B.A. in Dramatic Arts and History, University of Wisconsin-Parkside; M.F.A. in Acting, University of Virginia.

Courses: Introduction to Acting, Scene & Monologue Study, Styles of Acting, Actor’s Lab, Fundamentals of Stage Direction, Introduction to Theatre, Chicano/Latino Theatre.

Gil has trained under some of the country’s most respected theatre artists including: Sabin Epstien, Richard Warner, Bob Chapel, commedia dell’arte with Bob Berky, voice with Andrew Wade of the Royal Shakespeare Company, and Richard Armstrong of the Roy Hart Theatre. Gil continues to direct and act professionally and has many credits for the stage, film, television, as well as in commercials.

Founding member and Co-Artistic Director of the Remnant Theatre Company. Gil is also an active participant in the Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival (KC/ACTF) and an Associate Member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers (SSDC).
