Earth Scientists explore all processes relevant to the formation, present state, and future of the earth.  These include geologic, hydrologic, and climatic processes, which involve integration of  basic principles from Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics.  Earth Sciences is central to the Environmental Science Program.  Students interested in the Earth Sciences may major in the Environmental Science with an emphasis in Earth Science.
